Each year, the Vermont Golf Association rosters a team of the best golfers in the state to compete against the best golfers in New Hampshire & Maine.
All Vermont Golf Association members aged 21 years and older are eligible to compete on the Tri-State team. Aspiring players collect points through participation in Vermont Golf Association events. The team is made up of 14 players (10 Men & 4 Senior). The team is selected based off the Player of the Year points list.

The 2026 Tri-States Matches will bring together the top amateur golfers from Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire for three days of competition. Team Vermont will travel to Maine for this year’s matches as it looks to represent the Green Mountain State against its New England rivals.
