Casey Leads the Way at Williston Golf Club State Day Presented by Fidium Fiber

 

The Vermont Golf Association continued its 2026 State Day season on Wednesday with the Williston Golf Club State Day presented by Fidium Fiber. Players competed across multiple divisions at one of Vermont’s most popular public golf courses, with strong performances highlighting the day.

Brian Casey captured the A Division (Gross) title after carding a 76 (+5) to earn medalist honors in the top division. Adam Mimran claimed the A Division (Net) title with an impressive score of 74 (+3).

In the B Division, Mark Plummer earned the Gross victory with a round of 80 (+9), while Ravi Parikh posted one of the low net rounds of the day with a 70 (-1) to win the B Division (Net).

The Forward Tee Division saw August Meyer take home Gross honors with a score of 86 (+15). Steve Hamblett secured the Net title after shooting 76 (+5).

The Vermont Golf Association thanks Williston Golf Club for hosting the event and providing a great venue for players throughout the day. The VGA also extends its appreciation to Fidium Fiber for serving as the title sponsor of the event and supporting golf in Vermont.
