Scholarship Fund Scramble Championship

Awarded over $1 million in scholarships

Since its inception in 1964, the Vermont Golf Association Scholarship Fund, a 501©(3) nonprofit corporation, has awarded more than $1,000,000 to Vermont high school and college students.  For the 2012 school year, we will reward $40,000 in scholarships to forty Vermont and nearby New York and New Hampshire scholars attending college.  The Scramble Fund Championship is a major fundraiser for the Scholarship Fund.  Your team entry and contribution will enable us to continue and expand our efforts. 

 

Men’s and Women’s Championships

Gross and Net Divisions

SCRAMBLE FORMAT:  4 players per team – 18 holes of medal play.  Trophies awarded to Men’s and Women’s Championship Teams.  Gross and net winners will be awarded.

ENTRY FEE:  $340.00 per team.  The fee includes:  Golf, carts, lunch, complimentary golf balls, distinctive goody bag and prizes.  Enhance your chances by purchasing MULLIGANS and raffle tickets.  Enter to win CLOSEST TO THE PIN and PERFECT DRIVE Competitions.

 

RULES:  All players must have current USGA Handicap.  All men’s and women’s teams – no limitation on members’ handicap index.  The Tournament Committee, using total team index, will determine team handicap.  Each player’s tee shot must be used at least two times.  Match of cards in case of ties.
